This year marks the 9th annual Gingerbread House Festival where more than 150 gingerbread houses are put on display. Created by kids of all ages, youth groups, local businesses and organizations and presented by the Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast Florida this event is a must see during the holiday season. You can also pick up a great centerpiece to use for your own holiday decoration. Exhibition will be open during mall hours until Sunday at 4pm December 17th. Admission will be $1.00.
Drawing a crowd of over 1,000, this annual parade is a holiday celebration you won't want to miss. Traditionally held on Christmas afternoon, spectators line the streets of this Amish and Mennonite Community for a festive parade where anyone is welcome to watch or ride. Parade begins at 3:00pm but spectators are advised to get there early.
Come celebrate New Year's Eve in Downtown Sarasota with live music, a midway and family carnival to entertain everyone! Don't miss out on the food, beer and deals being offered along the streets by local restaurants and businesses. This is an all day celebration that doesn't end until the pineapple drops at midnight to ring in the new year. Sarasota's own indie arts & craft show enters its 12th season with three different holiday shopping venues. Offering unique and amusing hand made indie crafts and arts. The first 100 visitors at each show by the Bradentucky Bombers, receive free tote bags filled with coupons and swag.

Join us for the 22nd annual Sarasota Holiday Parade. Taking place in downtown Sarasota, the parade kicks off at 7pm with decorated floats, live marching bands and the guest of honor, rounding out the parade in jolly good fashion, Santa! The parade route runs along main street and is a definite "must see" in Sarasota this holiday season.
The evening will start off with a special holiday performance from 5:30 pm to 6:00 p.m. followed by the annual Christmas Carol Sing-a-long beginning at 6:00 p.m. Following the Sing-a-long will be the arrival of Santa in his sleigh and then the tree lighting ceremony in St. Armand's Circle Park. 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Enjoy holiday entertainment for the young and young at heart. Siesta Key Villages very own parade and holiday open house. Enjoy the holiday tree lighting, Santa's arrival, live music, and other entertainment. Free Trolley rides will be available from the Siesta Key Public Beach to the Village from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. Siesta Key Village.

Join the community in the 8th annual Thanksgiving Morning Turkey Trot 5K across the Ringling Bridge. Organized by ALSO Youth, the race begins at the Hyatt and crosses the Ringling Bridge.
